To provide a safer environment for our patients, and to ensure that the care we provide is in line with the American Academy of Pediatrics and the CDC, Cranberry Pediatric Dentistry cannot accept new patients who have not received vaccinations recommended by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Academy of Family Physicians, and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. A limited exception to this policy will be made for patients who have a medically documented reason for not receiving vaccinations. The Practice’s medical history questionnaire includes questions about vaccinations. The Practice will not ask for documentation of vaccine history unless the dentist has reason to suspect that the patient has not been truthful about their vaccination status.
